Delta Phi Epsilon
PHILANTHROPY
Delta Phi Epsilon supports three main philanthropies: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), and the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation.

Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation
Established in 1967, the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation gives members and their children the opportunity to further their education through scholarships, grants, and loans.
Every year, DPhiE chapters across Canada and the USA participate in Dimes for DPhiE, a month-long fundraiser in March to raise money for the Educational Foundation. In 2022, our chapter at Carleton University went "all-in" and donated over $1,500 to the foundation.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) helps benefit those with the genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis, through research, grants, and awareness campaigns. Supporting CFF since 1967, Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority has raised more than two million dollars for the foundation.
Our chapter has raised over $10,000 for CFF and hosts an annual fundraising event called Iris Icon.

National association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated disorders
ANAD was created to help support individuals affected by anorexia and other eating disorders. Delta Phi Epsilon is the first international sorority to pledge its regular support to ANAD. Each Delta Phi Epsilon chapter sponsors an annual candlelight vigil on their campus as part of ANAD awareness week.
In November 2022, our chapter raised over $900 for CHEO's Youth Eating Disorder Support Program in addition to our contribution to ANAD.
Service is one of Delta Phi Epsilon's five pillars. We believe it is essential for our members to engage with the communities around them and become aware of inequalities in their surroundings as well as their privilege and positionality. Each and every one of our members are leaders in their own right and have the potential to grow and make even more of a difference outside of university. As such, The Delta Phi Epsilon Chapter at Carleton University also has supported numerous local organizations including CHEO's Youth Eating Disorder Support Program, KindSpace Ottawa fundraising for the LGBTQ2S+ community, the Trevor Project, the Moosehide Campaign, the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and more.
When a cause is important to one member, it is important to us all. We will always remain at the forefront of philanthropic initiatives within our university community and throughout our lives.
